My name is Russell Zipkin, founder and creator of Select Appliance Sales, Inc. My business experience is a combination of 25 years as a restaurant equipment dealer plus 10 years as the founder, product designer and marketer of a major home cooking appliance manufacturing company called Russell Range, started in 1988. This unique combination of experiences lends insight to understanding the needs and concerns of you, our consumer, along with an understanding of manufacturing quality and sound cooking feature benefits.

Introducing to the home market, a continuous style top grate which allows for easy sliding of cookware from burner to burner, known commonly as "s" style grates.
Having created a line of high quality custom built ventilation hoods.
Spoke on behalf of the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers at the Department of Energy in Washington DC to defend the concept of high BTU cooking power. This was during a time when they were deciding the fate of energy usage regulation among home cooking appliances.
Wrote an article on home ventilation, which was published in "Kitchens by Professional Designers", Book VIII.
Won the "Innovative Product of the Year" for kitchen products in 1996, awarded by Kitchen & Bath Business Magazine, for the Russell Range "PlusSteam" range. The first domestic oven to incorporate steam cooking.
