This is a wonderful tip that I learned while working with Marion Cunningham on her book: Learning to Cook with Marion Cunningham. Simply put the ingredients of a recipe for a salad dressing in a jar with a lid that closes tight. Shake the jar vigorously and there you have it: a fresh salad dressing all ready to drizzle on some nice greens. If it separates before you use, just shake it up again.
